A couple of people wrote to ask for an update, and I haven't had time to respond. My mother comes home from the hospital on Thursday. We are cutting it very close, but it looks like all the necessary remodeling will be finished before her arrival.
My dad should be released from yet another hospital tomorrow. The doctors there advised my dad that there would be no need for any future hospital visits, that all the care he required could be provided in a hospice setting.
