Father Figures

As my friend was feeling a bit down, I was about ready to suggest she consult a priest when it occurred to me it might not be a good idea. All the same, I hope she enjoys the moment anyway.

Wow...Calendario Romano is a Catholic girl's equivalent of a Fireman Calender.

And ever so much more risky........................

Mwah! Thanks Internet Ronin! I think I'll forward this to the Anchoress. ;)

Cheers,
Victoria

They're known as "Father-what-a-waste" in some cirlces.

But I disagree. Why should God be left with the toothy, effete, bookish, ungainly ones? God, the author of Beauty, calls some unto Himself in the priesthood.

Hubba-hubba. Go God!

IR, you're an h'mo--I didn't realize, but I see you outed yourself in the Althouse comments. Slappin' you the pink high-5, girlfriend!

Oh my God...how surprised was I when, out of curiosity and because I log onto Victoria's blog all the time, I decided to click on your blog (Ronin is one of my favorite movies) and there were some of the same pictures that grace a Catholic Priests calendar that a friend got for me as a joke for Christmas this year. What a hoot! Where did you get yours???? (My gay son took my calendar...I told him that was extremely sinful lusting after a priest!)

Oops! Forgot to respond to everyone, I see. Oh well, too late now, but thanks for looking in. I'm sure that half of you went to confession immediately afterward, and the other half, well... we won't go there.

Caroline: I ran across the link (in the post) while surfing the web. Don't even remember how or why now. Your son has good taste. Don't need to ask where he go it- as one look at your blog tells me.

Chuck, if #4 wasn't a priest, I'd be in Rome now.
